| SYNOPSIS: Carlotta and Edoardo are reunited after 20 years and subsequently marry. They live a peaceful and happy life in a picturesque villa in the Tuscan countryside. However, their marital bliss is shattered when Edoardo's closest friend Ottone and Carlotta's goddaughter Ottilia arrive for an extended stay. The film is based on Goethe's early 19th century novel of the same name. |
