| SYNOPSIS: A lawyer and doctor convert an old house in the mountains into a sanatorium and "rest home" where people can go to find cures for their various ailments and recover in the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside. In addition to those with health problems, holiday-makers are also made welcome as they are attracted to the beauty and stillness of the perfect mountain-top setting. However, behind all this calmness lies a disturbing reality of the people who inhabit the place. There are affairs of money and sex, betrayal, emotional devastation and suspicious deaths. Through solitude and suffering the true nature and character of each person is revealed. |
